I&PR Director Visits Lawngtlai, Holds Interaction with DIPRO and MJA Members

Lawngtlai, May 19, 2026:

I&PR Director Pi K. Vanlalsangi today visited the District Information & Public Relations Office (DIPRO), Lawngtlai, where she was received by Pu Zonunchama Ralte, DIPRO Lawngtlai, staff members, and representatives of the Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA), Lawngtlai Branch.

During the meeting, Pi K. Vanlalsangi spoke on the coordination between DIPRO Lawngtlai and MJA Lawngtlai and stressed the need to continue working together in disseminating accurate government information and public welfare-related updates. She stated that DIPRO offices have a key responsibility in publicizing government programmes, departmental activities, and important information meant for the public.

She also said that the I&PR Department and the media play an important role in informing people about government initiatives and public matters across the district.

Representatives of MJA Lawngtlai stated that the association and the I&PR Department have been working together in disseminating government information and matters concerning public interest. They also discussed the responsibilities of both institutions in ensuring the flow of information to the people.

During her visit, the I&PR Director inspected the office premises and infrastructure of the DIPRO Office, Lawngtlai. Later in the afternoon, she left for Siaha as part of her official tour.
