BJP Mizoram Welcomes 153 New Members in West Phaileng Grand Induction

In a remarkable show of strength and growing influence, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mizoram held a grand mass induction ceremony at West Phaileng on August 19, where as many as 153 voters officially joined the party under the leadership of BJP State President, Dr. K. Beichhua.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Beichhua warmly welcomed the new members and asserted that the future of Mizoram politics lies with the BJP.

“The Congress and MNF era has already faded, and although ZPM is in power now, the people are gradually losing faith in them. The BJP is emerging as the strongest alternative and will lead Mizoram into a new political era,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of visionary decision-making, Dr. Beichhua pointed out how neighboring Arunachal Pradesh has risen politically and developmentally under BJP leadership, gaining representation even at the Union Cabinet level.

“If the Zo people make the right political choices, Mizoram too can achieve such recognition and progress,” he added.

The BJP chief further stressed that the victory of BJP MLAs in the Southern region has already opened the door for major development projects sanctioned by the Central Government.

“Siaha district is already building close ties with Delhi, and this is just the beginning. I appeal to the people of Dampa constituency to also embrace this opportunity by electing a BJP representative,” he urged.

Palak MLA Pu K. Hrahmo, who also serves as a BJP Core Committee member, strongly criticized the state government’s financial mismanagement:

“Due to wrong policies, Mizoram today depends on the Central Government for nearly 80% of its annual budget. This shows the urgency for change,” he remarked.

The induction programme was chaired by Pu J. Lalrimawia, President of BJP Mamit District, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Upa Vanlalngama.

With this significant boost in membership, BJP Mizoram continues to strengthen its base and position itself as a powerful political force for change in the state.
